The original company in the group, founded in 2005. Chelsea Upholstery & Interiors focused on reupholstering valuable antique and mid-century furniture using traditional methods and materials.
Covering the Chelsea and Central Area of London, clients would include antique/vintage dealers and many high end residential Interior Designers.
After moving into a larger workspace on Hurlingham Road, a wood section was created to allow the construction of new frames. Techniques were inspired by traditional and mid century methods to create new pieces of furniture.
Today the company focus’ on the production of bespoke furniture for quality Interior design schemes.
In 2016, Chelsea Upholstery closed its workshop doors in London and moved production across to a furniture factory in Porto, Portugal.
Revelagora, Lda is the registered name of the company that was opened in Porto to start crafting our new furniture projects.
Our team consists of skilled artisans, working across carpentry, finishing, sewing and upholstery. They are supported by a dedicated office and logistics team to deliver tailored projects to our discerning clients.
As well as producing furniture for Chelsea Upholstery, Revelagora operates independently within EU and other world territories.
